Gale Group Databases
Choose from 19 databases for all of your research projects. Comprised of a variety of full-text sources that include magazines, newspapers, reference books, and primary documents, these databases provide reliable and up-to-date information. Included are the following: 1.Student Edition--Magazine articles 2.Custom Newspapers--Newspaper articles 3.Student Resource Center-Gold--Magazine, newspaper, and reference book articles on various topics and people 4.Literature Resource Center--Magazine, newspaper, and reference book articles on authors and their works 5.Texas Almanac 6.Student Resource Center-Health--Magazine articles and essays on medical and health related issues.

Maps 101
With more than "4000 easy-to-print maps, daily and weekly current events articles, and access to world and U.S. reference atlases", this database provides information on all countries of the world.

Access to the Internet is permitted only if a student/staff member has a Midland ISD Internet Agreement on file. A stamp for the current school year must be placed on the student identification card. Students must register with a librarian and are required to show their ID before accessing the Internet in the library media center. Blank MISD Internet Agreements are available in the library.
